Kate Brown Needs Some Fun

Kate Brown, the governor of Oregon, is sick with a strain of corruption called greed. She is lucky however, Uncle Drew and I are decorated doctors in the study of fun. The cure is very simple, and we do in-fact have a vaccine for her sort of illness - it's called a night out at a bar with a couple of bud lights.

I have a theory about people like Kate - I don't think they got many invites to parties as a youth, and it made them envious of the "cool kids." As a result, people like her made it into positions of heightened power, and have grown drunk on an artificial feeling of superiority.

Look, I am being facetious here, but my theory could be true. For whatever reason - and there could be many - people like Kate have abandoned rational thought and decided to pursue more draconian COVID measures backed by no merit. The more we comply, the further we will seep into an authoritarian state. People like Kate tested the waters the last year to see what they could get away with during COVID, and they can't shake the power they feel. The measures will keep coming until the masses say enough.

Once Kate is removed from office, I recommend she join a book club or something and make some friends. I'd further recommend she go to a bar in her state, but I don't think there is any left, so she may have to travel to Wyoming, Utah, or Montana for a drink. I can assure her it will be well worth the trip - she might realize for the first time in her life good company, a few drinks, and some genuine laughter can cure her tyrannical impulses - who cares if the "cool kids" never invited you to party - they never invited me either. I guess the difference between us is I never needed approval from the "cool kids."
