Joe Biden turning his back on the world as he walks away from his brief statement on Afghanistan to go back on vacation to Camp David - without taking questions from the press.
When history reflects back on a Joe Biden Presidency it will find a common theme - heartbreak. It will find a man who has the mental acuity of an aged snail, unfit for the office he holds as demonstrated by the avoidable crisis in Afghanistan. Sean Parnell, a veteran of Afghanistan said it best earlier today, "Blame the suits, not the boots."
Joe Biden has been in government for nearly half a century. The media told you he was a seasoned expert of politics, a decorated public servant who stood poised to take the reins of government from a businessman turned "fascist." They told you that Joe Biden was a leader, but what do leaders do in times of crisis? Do they go on vacation and hide for three days as a problem festers? Do they say one thing, and then do another? And most importantly, when the American people are desperate for answers, do they just walk away? No.
All of my peers from college and high school who are very politically vocal on social media on issues of social justice are deathly silent today. In-fact, most of them have been silent on everything but vaccines recently. The botched withdrawal from Afghanistan stands to become possibly the single greatest foreign policy failure in United States history. A trillion dollars and countless lives lost over two decades, and nothing to show for it. Where are my peers to rally around this issue?
As US airplanes took off, Afghani people clung to the sides of the aircrafts desperately gripping onto a semblance of hope. Graphic images show them falling to their deaths.

Check out the deleted Tweet below from a State Department official. Why did she delete her statement? As we speak the Taliban are slaughtering innocent civilians they believe stood with the Americans, they are going door to door taking sex slaves, they are stripping women of all their rights as well as anybody else who looks at them the wrong way, but the State Department rather play politics - you can't say that Molly, you will make Joe Biden and the Democrats look bad. Toe the line.

Meanwhile Joe Biden came back from vacation to deliver a weak speech to address the situation, and then took no questions. You know who is taking questions though? The spokesperson for the Taliban. Jen Psaki, the Press Secretary for Biden, picked quite the week to take a last minute vacation - talk about leadership.

Some brave Afghan soldiers fought till the end, but their president, Ashraf Ghani, took off like a spooked horse in a thunderstorm. He fled the scene so fast, I'm already reading reports that the new Taliban government is looking to sign him to the Afghani Olympic track team. They say the captain of a ship is supposed to be the last one to abandon his boat until all their passengers are safe, otherwise they must go down with the vessel. Ghani is a coward, he abandoned his ship, while Joe Biden doesn't bother to steer his. The US is the Titanic on it's way towards colliding with an iceberg. Inflation is on the rise as we are printing money we don't have, crime is skyrocketing, the southern border is wide open, small businesses are crumbling, personal liberty is slowly fading, Afghanistan has fallen, and Joe Biden seems like he is drinking and driving the boat.
Seven months in, and Joe Biden has no control. I had proclaimed in an earlier piece that we may as well call President Biden Chairman Biden, as the title seemed fitting. I was wrong, he's a puppet - nothing more than a scarecrow propped up as a front to hide the real people running the country. Puppet Biden, I think that fits him best.
In a random act of journalism (As Rush Limbaugh would say), Jake Tapper said, "The President said the buck stopped with him, but in fact the speech was full of finger-pointing and blame." He forgot to mention he also took that line, "the buck stops here," from President Harry Truman, but plagiarizing isn't new for Joe, it's why he had to drop out of the race for President a couple of decades ago. I also wrote in an earlier piece the following,
I will pose to you now the question I aim to ask you in four years - are you happy with your vote?
Four years cannot wait, I must ask it now - are you happy with your vote? Are you even paying attention? Or are you too busy partying in the Hamptons, sipping on your expensive cocktail, lecturing me on vaccine passports, while telling me we don't need voter ID?
In less than a month from now America will gather to grieve the two decade anniversary of 9/11. Americans jumped off the buildings in despair then, Afghani's fall off US planes for the same reason now. Richard Engel, an NBC reporter commented on Biden's speech, "Biden says human rights is the center of US policy. A hard sell tonight where I'm sitting outside the Kabul airport."
Heartbreak. That is how Joe Biden will be remembered. The man who coward in the corner looking for his own life vest, when Americans needed him to steer the ship.
